Your mission
For the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 (ESC), we are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator from January 2025 to the end of May 2025 (50% January-March, 100% April-May). In this role, you will be in charge of managing the volunteers working on the ESC production. As part of the ESC Event team, your tasks will be the following:- support the city of Basel during the launch of the call for volunteers;
- work together with the city of Basel in the recruiting stage;
- define volunteer needs with all HB ESC teams for ESC 2025;
- dispatch volunteers prior to and during the event;
- set up a schedule for volunteers and elaborate a flexible and solid back-up plan;
- make sure all volunteers comply with ESC rules at all times
Your profile
- You have a good knowledge of the ESC and other big-scale international events
- You have experience in working with volunteers or with similar activities
- You have experience with event management
- You have good organisational and communication skills
- You are a multi-tasker and are able to handle stressful situations in a calm and composed manner
