Your mission
For the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 (ESC), we are looking for a Backstage Tour Coordinator from February 2025 to the end of May 2025 (February-March 50%, April-May 100%). In this role, you will be in charge of coordinating all the Backstage Tours for the different partners and groups prior to and during ESC 2025. As part of the ESC Event team, your tasks will be the following:- set up a backstage tour concept (information from previous years, possible routes, fun facts, group sizes etc.);
- elaborate a plan together with the production team (especially the venue manager) and the other ESC teams in order to determine which groups will need backstage tours and at what frequency: sponsors, partners, providers, HB, city of Basel etc.;
- set up a plan together with the hospitality and the ticketing manager for all potential hospitality packages including backstage tours;
- elaborate and keep up a schedule of all backstage tours;
- set up a team of volunteers and train them in order to carry out the backstage tours;
- write the script for the backstage tours together with all the teams involved, for example production team, event team, executive producers, commentators
Your profile
- You have a good knowledge of the ESC and other international events
- You have experience with technical aspects of large-scale international TV productions
- You have experience with event management and big-scale international events
- You are able to create and coordinate a small team
- You have good organisational and communication skills
- You are a multi-tasker and are able to handle stressful situations in a calm and composed manner
